Students and staff at Corpus Christi have access to a modern, well-resourced and equipped library centre.
We are committed to providing students with the tools, resources and facilities needed to maximise their learning, creativity and extra-curricular opportunities. Our library plays a vital role in this goal and provides invaluable resources for students and staff.
Technology Resource Centre
We believe that the internet is a powerful tool providing students with instant access to a variety of quality resources and links them to the wider community. Corpus Christi has a newly refurbished, well-resourced and well-equipped library to support and enhance the learning of all students. Students have access to the latest technology in the library including laptops, desktops and an interactive whiteboard.
Our technology resource centre ties into our approach towards 21st century learning, providing students with the tools needed to enhance their creativity, retain their learning and explore new topics of interest, providing students with skills that will prepare them for future learning.
To encourage literacy skills, students can borrow books on a weekly basis during library sessions.
During lessons, our librarian and the class teacher work together to maximise the learning for all students. Students are actively engaged in their learning due to the opportunities provided.
The library is also open at lunchtime for all students.
All you need to borrow a book is a library bag.
To encourage the development of literacy skills in students, there is also a parent resource centre in the library where they may borrow books before or after school. Parents are encouraged to read with their children to further develop their child's literacy skills and understanding.

We’d love a chance to show you how learning works for young people in our school. Our dedicated teachers plan the learning in detail to help each student do their best.
